



Myself and two other designers were assigned to develop a name and logo for the intimate apparel store in New York City. Talking with the client we learned the company is based around the in-house fashion designer, and the companies inspiration was the idea of “bedroom meets runway.” Using this idea Boudoir was given as a possible company name as it is a French verb meaning “private bedroom.”
With the Boudoir name, a dark seductive color palette was chosen to represent the bedroom and a modern as well as script typeface were chosen for the company’s typography to contrast with the soft and dynamic elements. When creating the logo a soft but dynamic icon was developed to represent the company.
